Pray during Eid al Fitr

Eid al-Fitr is a joyous holiday celebrated by Muslims all over the world. It marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting, and is a time for celebration, feasting, and gift-giving. Christians can be a blessing in Muslim communities in a number of ways:

  • Learn about Eid al-Fitr. Eid al-Fitr is a time of great joy and celebration for Muslims. It is a time to come together with family and friends, to pray, to give thanks, and to enjoy delicious food. Take time this year to learn a bit about Eid al-Fitr by reading articles, watching videos, or asking your Muslim friends and neighbors what it means to them.
  • Pray for Muslims. Christians can pray for Muslims during Eid al-Fitr by asking God to bless them, to keep them safe, and to help them to grow more hungry for Jesus and have a hunger to read the Bible. Christians can also pray for peace and understanding between Muslims and Christians.
  • Reach out to your Muslim neighbors. Eid al-Fitr is a great time to reach out to your Muslim neighbors and friends. Consider inviting them over for a meal, give them a gift, or simply say hello and wish them a happy Eid. Work to build bridges of friendship and understanding. Some may even lead to fruitful conversations about Jesus.
